“Hollywood Madam” adds Sexy to Pet Grooming!
Bow Wow Beauty: Frida certainly loves the type of marble beach balls for sale in the toy isle. Although Frida is only 8lbs, she gets great cardio dribbling these balls around while running around on her hind legs! It’s a hoot! Apparently she is not the only one! Last month in Whole Dog Journal, they published a photo & snippet about a new sport where dogs get to dribble & push around very large balls! Frida is so hip!
Treibball (also known as “drive ball”) is a very new and very fun sport. Herding dogs are natural candidates, but so are any dogs that like to play with balls and dogs that enjoy shaping games. Video after the jump.

In late February, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published a report about two people who live in the same home in Lake County, Oregon, who were diagnosed with bubonic plague – the only two cases of the disease in the United States in 2010. Because bubonic plague is so rare in the U.S. – and potentially deadly – the victim’s county and state health departments, as well as the CDC, all participated in investigating how the patients contracted the illness. Eventually, all fingers pointed at a third member of the household: the family dog. More specifically, fleas on the family dog.
